Things are far from rocky for film industry icon Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin, at least judging by their purchasing power.

The actor/writer/director, whose “Rocky” and “Rambo” franchises are instantly recognizable, has a new address—worth $35 million—in Palm Beach, Fla., according to the Palm Beach Post.

Stallone, 74, who has luxury homes in California, lived in Miami during the 1990s and may have considered the huge tax benefits in leaving the Golden State.

His new residence includes more than 13,200 square feet of living space and has seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, according to the Robb Report, a luxury lifestyle magazine.

And if you’re a friend of Sly’s? In addition to the main house, there are two guest houses, “one of them a stand-alone waterside pavilion, plus an open-air cabana that faces a keyhole-shaped pool surrounded by manicured lawns and swaying palms,” according to Robb Report. “A separate semi-circular spa is sited just a few feet away from the sandy water’s edge.” Because, well, you need a separate spa.

Among Stallone’s neighbors reportedly will be British rock star Rod Stewart, 75, who has had a home in Palm Beach County for some time.  Jon Bon Jovi, Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh also have winter homes not far from Stallone’s new place, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

Stallone had attended the University of Miami before achieving film-industry fame and later lived in Miami, close to Madonna’s home at the time, in the 1990s. His father, Frank Stallone Sr., died in 2011 in Wellington, Fla., where he had a home.

Still keenly recognizing where his bread was buttered, Stallone bought the home in the name of Southpaw Trust, an homage to “Rocky.”

The property hit the market in June with an asking price of $37.8 million, according to Realtor.com.
