Since his sudden firing from Fox News in late April, Tucker Carlson has been delivering hit after hit with his new Twitter-based show.

Despite threats of legal action from his former employers, Carlson has continued delivering his usual brand of commentary from his home studio, racking up more views than most primetime news shows in the process.

Episode 9 of “Tucker on Twitter” premiered on Tuesday night, and it proved to be Carlson’s biggest episode yet. For the show’s first interview-style episode, Carlson flew to Romania for a sit-down with one of the most famous and controversial figures in the world today: kickboxer, influencer, and self-described misogynist Andrew Tate.

Tate and Carlson’s discussion lasted for two and a half hours, allowing the two men to dive into a wide range of issues. The interview covers everything from the collapse of culture and masculinity in the West to the war in Ukraine while also addressing Tate’s current legal troubles.

“The video is long, but if you can, take the time to watch it,” Carlson urges his viewers in his opening monologue. “Make up your own mind about Andrew Tate.”

With the video currently sitting at 46.8 million views and counting, it’s clear that people are following Carlson’s advice.

Here are some of the main takeaways from the interview.

1. “Stare at a wall, smoke cigarettes, do pushups, and read the Quran”

The primary subject of the interview was Tate’s current legal troubles. Tate, along with his brother Tristan, is facing charges of rape and human trafficking and is currently under house arrest in his Romanian mansion. The indictment alleges that the Tate brothers created a criminal organization to lure women to Romania, coerce them to create videos for OnlyFans, TikTok and other platforms, and then steal the profits the content generated.

While the charge of rape went unaddressed during the interview, Tate spoke extensively about the human trafficking allegations. He maintains his innocence, claiming that the Romanian government is pursuing the charges despite his alleged victims denying that he did anything wrong. The discussion then turned to Tate’s 92-day incarceration following his arrest last year. Locked up alongside mentally unstable inmates and presented with documents in a language he doesn’t speak, Tate recounts that there wasn’t much to do besides “stare at the wall, smoke cigarettes, do pushups, and read the Quran.”

However, he describes his overall mental state since his release as generally positive, and he continually stresses that he is not suicidal and has no plans to kill himself.

2. Masculinity and Migrants

Carlson and Tate also discussed the problems facing men in the Western world and the issue of mass immigration in Europe, which the two agree are closely linked. Carlson points out that American boys and young men are encouraged to pursue drugs, video games, and pornography, all of which Tate condemns. Instead, he encourages them to stand up for themselves and “go to the gym.” This, Tate argues, is the only way for a society to stand up against an influx of “high-testosterone men of the Third World.” Carlson agreed with Tate’s anti-immigration stance, citing examples like the unrest in France and the UK.

3. “Putin Cured COVID”

Though he claims to “avoid politics” wherever possible, Tate also weighed in on the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, which he believes distracted the world from COVID. Once the invasion started, everyone stopped focusing on the pandemic “almost to the day,” Tate claims. He also argues that there are no good guys and bad guys in war and that the Ukraine conflict is not a case of “Churchill vs Hitler.”

But despite the 150-minute runtime, Carlson barely scratched the surface of what the most Googled man of 2022 has to say on these issues.

Fortunately, Patrick Bet-David was able to provide Tate with a similar platform. Just last month, PBD, Tate, and the Valuetainment team had a sit-down of their own that lasted for nearly five hours! In this no-holds-barred interview, Tate discussed topics like his recent religious awakening, an ambush interview by the BBC, his thoughts on saving American society, and much, much more.

Just like Tucker Carlson’s interview, this is something you have to see to understand. Watch the full, uncensored interview with Tate and PBD.
