Former Hollywood actor-turned-podcaster Russell Brand announced today that he will be getting baptized this Sunday, possibly in the Thames River that flows through London. This follows from his increasing interest in Christianity, following a life-long interest in spirituality in general.

Brand referred to the strange Great Awakening that seems to be occurring, at least on social media, where thousands are flocking back to Christianity. Brand said the trend is not a surprise as, in his opinion, meaning has evaporated from the modern world.
Conservative commentator Candace Owens just announced on Monday that she has converted to Catholicism.

Meanwhile, rapper and business mogul Ye (Kanye West), who made multiple albums inspired by Christianity following a spiritual awakening in 2019, has distanced himself from the religion over the last few months. “I have my issues with Jesus. There’s a lot of stuff I went through, that I prayed, and I ain’t see Jesus show up,” Ye said on Big Boy TV. And now, he is floating the idea of launching a porn company.
