Influencer Andrew Tate is in police custody after being arrested in connection to a human trafficking investigation. Tate was arrested Thursday in Romania after police searched his villa.

According to a Romanian news outlet, Tate’s brother Tristan Tate is also in police custody, and both will face questioning by the country’s organized crime and terrorism unit.
This is not the first time the influencer coined as “the king of toxic masculinity” has faced accusations of involvement in human trafficking. In April of this year, Tate’s Eastern European home was also raided as part of a human trafficking investigation.
Andrew Tate could be in serious trouble. In a press release obtained by the Daily Mail, Romanian police say they have raided a total of five homes. Warrants were issued concerning an ongoing investigation into an organized criminal group, international human trafficking, and rape. Police say six victims have come forward claiming to be sexually exploited by the criminal group. The police would not name what four men were arrested, but they did say the men would be questioned and held for at least 24 hours. Friday, the initial 24 hour hold was extended to one month for Tate and his brother.
