Not sure if Frank Sinatra, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, or Pink have ever done this or would even consider it, but The Weeknd canceled his concert in the middle of singing his hit song “Can’t Feel My Face” in front of 70,000 fans at a sold-out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

It seemed like he couldn’t find his voice.

Astonishingly, he told everyone it was time to go home, as the shocked crowd jeered the Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye.

“You’ll get your money back,” he said softly but steadily. “But I’ll do a show real soon for you guys.”

The shocking turn of events left fans in shock and maybe sensing how ridiculous his move was, he tried to reassure the crowd more.

“You know how much this kills me right now. I’m sorry. I love you so much.”  Not enough to do sing a few more songs.

Sensing his public relations fiasco, he went to Twitter to make more explanations.

“My voice went out during the first song, and I’m devastated. Felt it go, and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”

Will he refund tens of millions of dollars and then do another show for free? It sounds like that’s what he promised.

He better.
