Floyd Mayweather is the most accomplished boxer in history. He never lost a fight as a professional, which is incredible, but not as astounding as what he revealed in a resurfaced interview that, if true, could help blow open one of the most famous unsolved crimes of the past century.

Mayweather claims that he witnessed Tupac Shakur being murdered on the Vegas Strip on September 7, 1996.

Footage from a 2014 interview shows Mayweather talking about the Las Vegas apartment building he was living at in September of 1996.  It happens to be right across the street from where Tupac Shakur was shot four times while riding as a passenger in Suge Knight’s BMW.

The iconic rapper died six days later from internal bleeding.  He was only 25 years old.

Here’s what he revealed in the clip. “The car pulled right here and shot Tupac at this light. The car went that way. I was living right here in 1996 when Tupac got killed, I ain’t ever told nobody. Only the closest people with me know.”

Less than a year later, Biggie Smalls was killed in Los Angeles. Here we are 27 years later, and there still has not been an arrest in either murder.

The Tupac murder has been getting attention lately. Last week police searched a Las Vegas home allegedly connected with the killing. Couple that with Floyd Mayweather claiming he was an eyewitness to the shooting, and maybe there will be justice sometime soon.
