The Serbian tennis player is currently ranked No. 3 in the world in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

Djokovic has been ranked world No. 1 for a record total of 373 weeks and has finished as the year-end No. 1 a record seven times.

Djokovic has won 20 Grand Slam men’s singles titles, including a record nine Australian Open titles, and has won 87 ATP singles titles, including 38 Masters events.

After dropping the first set and seeming frustrated with his performance, Djokovic took the next two sets and a 3-1 lead in the fourth.

Norrie fought back, getting within one game of the 20-time Grand Slam champion before ultimately losing 6-4.

“I didn’t start off well. He was the better player for the first set…It’s never easy walking out on the court.”

“You have a lot of pressure and expectations from yourself and, of course, from others as well,” said Djokovic in his post-match interview on Centre Court.

Djokovic fought through the high temperatures to reach the eighth final at Wimbledon and his 32nd Grand Slam final, where he will face Nick Kyrgios with the hopes of winning his sixth title at the All England Club and a record-tying 21st Grand Slam title.

Kyrgios is competing in his first Grand Slam final and expressed Friday that he’s feeling quite nervous in preparation for Sunday’s game.

“I probably got an hour’s sleep just with everything, like the excitement. I had so much anxiety. I was already feeling so nervous, and I don’t feel nervous usually,” said Kyrgios.

Kyrgios is anticipating Djokovic’s experience will play a role in the upcoming match.

Kyrgios reflected on the difference in experience between the two saying, “That’s where Djokovic has the advantage from the get-go. He can draw from experience. He’s done it so many more times. He knows the emotions he’s going to be feeling. I don’t know that “I don’t know anything like that, so … It was just all running through my head, every little thought, and I just slept really bad.”
