On Wednesday, media-focused reporting outlet Mediaite published its annual “Most Influential in News Media” list, ranking 2023’s biggest “movers and shakers” in the media world.

Alongside media legends like Sean Hannity and Anderson Cooper, cultural icons like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan, and influential outsiders like Ben Shapiro and Charlamagne tha God, this year’s list also featured Patrick Bet-David for the first time ever, capping off a year of wins for the Valuetainment brand.

“You might have noticed that no shortage of 2023’s viral moments online seemed to occur around a small table framed by comfortable office chairs and the nondescript ‘PBD Podcast’ watermark in the left corner of the screen,” Mediaite’s assessment of the VT founder and CEO began.

PBD, “the increasingly influential entrepreneur” who ranked 70th on the list, was celebrated for his wide range of podcast guests, which has included Andrew Tate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Ann Coulter in the last year alone.

Mediaite even called attention to some of the most viral moments from the PBD Podcast in 2023, including Chris Cuomo admitting that he might vote for Trump and Ron DeSantis addressing the infamous “bootgate” conspiracy.

As Mediaite wrote, Patrick Bet-David “has a knack for attracting interesting guests and getting them to say interesting things.”

But making the outlet’s “Most Influential” list wasn’t the only win for PBD and Valuetainment in 2023.

Over the summer, during the sold-out Vault Conference in Miami, Florida, PBD announced a major investment in securing the domain VT.coman accomplishment five years in the making.

In November, Valuetainment also hit a milestone 5 million YouTube subscribers, with over 1.5 million more subscribed to the PBD Podcast.

But the victories didn’t stop there.

In 2023, PBD also paid a visit to the Joe Rogan Experience, delivered a headlining speech at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference, and became a bestselling author for the second time with the launch of his new book Choose Your Enemies Wisely.
