The entrepreneurial spirit is something that not many former first ladies are known for until now.

Melania Trump just launched a venture this week to sell NFT’ on her website.  The cost? One Solana token, which is a cryptocurrency currently valued at just under $200.

The former first lady plans to release new NFT’s in regular intervals, with part of the proceeds going to foster children.

NFT’s are hot and becoming hotter each week. Earlier this year, the world woke up to the technology when digital artist Beetle sold a piece of art for almost 470 million. The NBA was an early adapter, making LeBron James highlights available for prices ranging from a few bucks to nearly a quarter-million dollars.

Tom Brady has gotten into the game in a big way too.

As for what Melania is selling, it’s called “Melania’s Vision,” a “watercolor” by Marc-Antoine Coulon, which includes an audio recording of Trump, according to her office. It is available for purchase now up until December 31.

Here’s what Mrs. Trump said in a press release.

“I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which embodies my passion for the arts, and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best initiative. Through this new technology-based platform, we will provide children computer science skills, including programming and software development, to thrive after they age out of the foster community.”
