Patrick Bet-David chatted things up with comedian Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh on Schulz’s podcast “Flagrant” this past weekend and the conversations were a perfect blend of humor, business and politics.

This time around, the tables were turned and PBD was in the spotlight as Schulz’s guest, so you know what that means … leaving it up to a comedian to put the boss man on the spot was nothing short of entertaining!

At one point, the conversation turns to Patrick discussing the reasoning behind his drive, and the moments that fueled him as a go-getter and businessman. Patrick has been a dreamer since childhood — he mentioned asking a question to his friend when he was younger.

He asked, “listen, you can be the richest man in America — Bill Gates, you can be the best athlete in the world — Michael Jordan, you can be the best performer in the world — Michael Jackson, or you can be the President. Who do you wanna be?”

Schulz then asks Pat, “Who would you be?”

“At that time, it would probably be money, because I grew up poor. I didn’t have any money. Now, if I could jump 48 inches, then listen, are you kidding me? There’s not even a question about it … Michael? It’s Michael,” Pat confidently praising and choosing Michael Jordan as his choice.

“I have zero interest in being Bill Gates,” Schulz said.

The two-plus hour conversation goes deep into what motivates PBD, his fascinating story of success and perseverance, what he thinks the future holds for Elon Musk and Twitter and whether he’d ever run for political office, among other things.
