President Donald Trump posted a message to his followers on Truth Social that he believes he will be arrested this upcoming week — which could be the greatest campaign strategy in the world, according to Elon Musk. He thinks if Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg follows through and indicts Trump as part of the Stormy Daniels hush money situation, Democrats will regret it.
“If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory.”
It’s going to be an interesting week to see if Trump is arrested and what his reaction would be. It would be the first time in U.S. history that a former president has been charged with a crime.
The tweet by Musk has raked up millions of views so far. Even though Trump was reinstated on Twitter in November, he has yet to send a single tweet, and he did not “like” the tweet Musk sent.
The Republican field is light right now. Trump is officially in the race for President in 2024, and so is former South Carolina Governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy is also a candidate.
The world is waiting for Florida governor Ron De Santis to make his announcement official. Currently, he and Trump are the frontrunners on the Republican side, and that doesn’t appear like it will change even if former Vice President Mike Pence decides he will take a run for the job too.
