There is a traveling museum called the “Museum of Failure,” which “is a collection of failed products and services from around the world. The majority of all innovation projects fail and the museum showcases these failures to provide visitors with a fascinating learning experience.”

It’s really cool.  I went to it when it was in Los Angeles.

Well, Elon Musk is allowing anyone around the world to own items from the corporate office of a company that was mired in failure and scandal before he arrived.  The new owner is looking to cut costs and drive revenue any way he can, so he’s auctioning off items from Twitter headquarters.

Oh, he also has yet to pay rent at the San Francisco headquarters since he purchased the company. He’s been trying to renegotiate lease terms with the building owner.

As for the merchandise and items up for sale, it includes dozens of furniture items. Think about it; you could potentially sit at the same desk where a former Twitter executive made the decision not to allow the NY Post’s Hunter Biden story to be circulated before the 2020 election.

Other items for sale include a giant “@“ sculpture that certainly wasn’t a waste of money, plus cool things like a Twitter bird statue, espresso machines and chairs.

The auction commences January 17, 2023, and is open for one day. Heritage Global Partners is organizing the sale.
