If TikTok were to be banned in the United States like many politicians want it to be, it would at least serve one useful purpose; it would be one less place you’d have to accidentally see and hear the ignorant ramblings of unpatriotic idiots who are offended by seeing people stand with their hand over their heart during the playing of the national anthem.

Yes, unfortunately, tens of thousands of ungrateful yahoos are walking around in a free country because millions of people fought for the right to put their hands over their hearts.

A viral video posted to TikTok last week showed a roomful of patriotic Americans standing with their hands over their hearts during the star-spangled banner played in a Southern California restaurant.

A diner there was offended by the sight and ran to TikTok to ensure people knew.

“By far the most dangerous situation I’ve ever been in.” Really? Dangerous? She then included the hashtags #godblessamerica, #getout, #illegal, and #whitepeoplethings.

Over 17,000 people had comments.  One person equated seeing people honor the flag and the national anthem to a horror movie. Another said, “Serious question. Is this real? Like people actually do this in real everyday life?”

A Brit said, “As someone from the uk this feel so dystopian.”

A Spaniard said they don’t hear the national anthem that much.

Okay, well, that is why America is the greatest country in the world because we do these things.

The restaurant in San Diego said they play the anthem every day at noon. Good for them!

Here’s hoping they have record profits this year.
