In a surprise ruling, the Supreme Court decided to give the Navajo Nation the cold shoulder as they struggle with record drought, as NBC News notes.

On Friday, the Court ruled in a 5-4 decision that it would not be permissible to even examine a transfer of water rights from the federal government to the Navajo Nation, based largely in Arizona. The state has seen much of their water-wells at deadpool levels, meaning they’re close to drying out completely. That’s because, oddly enough, Saudi Arabia has purchased much of the water rights across the state. They need it to export alfalfa feed to strengthen their farming. A key lobbyist for a firm working with the Arab nation also got elected to be on the Maricopa County Supervisors. With that role, he had direct power to vote on water access, and spoke out against a bill that would allow the specific county governments to have direct control over the water supply. It kept getting diverted to the Saudi’s purchased land in Arizona.

The Supreme Court simply shrugged its shoulders, proving themselves to fit quite neatly into the pockets of Saudi Arabia. It further confirms the point that the power structure of America, on both the left and the right, is eager to move towards total globalist control.

Buu Nygren, the Navajo Nation President, did his best to protect his people’s sacred land. “My job as the president of the Navajo Nation is to represent and protect the Navajo people, our land, and our future. The only way to do that is with secure, quantified water rights to the Lower Basin of the Colorado River” he said.

Bizarrely enough, this ruling violates a treaty the Navajo Nation struck with the government way back in 1868. It ensured the tribe had access to their land, and that the government would do all in its power to protect that access, as well as making sure the Nation had access to a reasonable, healthy, livable amount of water.

But again, civil rights don’t fit in with the modern power structure’s agenda. Congratulations to the Supreme Court as they play a key role in further eroding the confidence Americans have in their government by the day.
