Texas governor Greg Abbott is getting a ton of blowback for his announcement to open up his state.

No more masks. No social distancing. Businesses can be open 100%.

One big critic is President Joe Biden, who called it a “big mistake.”

But wait there’s more, Biden wasn’t finished, he also added “the last thing, the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking, that, ‘In the meantime, everything’s fine. Take off your mask. Forget it.’ It still matters.”

It wasn’t all negative for Abbott though, he acquired a high profile fan with the decision, and it looks like you can expect another big name celebrity to pack up and move to Texas…

The rapper 50 Cent is fed up with the coronavirus restrictions in his state of New York, so if you believe what he put on Instagram today, he’s saddling up and riding to Texas. “I’m headed to Texas f*&% this 🏃‍♂️💨LOL.”

It received almost 80,000 likes in the first hour.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, has been getting increasingly frustrated and boxed in by the pandemic restrictions.he hosted a mask-less Super Bowl part in St. Petersburg in February, and took all kinds of heat for it, including the mayor of St. Pete, Rick Kriseman.

“This isn’t how we should be celebrating the Super Bowl. It’s not safe or smart. It’s stupid. We’re going to take a very close look at this, and it may end up costing someone a lot more than 50 cent,” he tweeted.
