It’s been a darn good month for Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts. Let’s see, all he’s done is:

  • Win a World Series championship.
  • Be awarded his fifth career Gold Glove award for incredible defense.
  • Buy a sick, 9,300-square-foot-house from UCLA football coach Chip Kelly in suburban LA.

Let’s talk about the house. With nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, he could safely and lavishly quarantine the entire Dodgers starting lineup. No chance anyone gets bored either, with a home theater, gym, sauna and walk-in wine closet all located on the main floor.

The house fits the mold for the oh so popular “modern farmhouse style” that is all the rage in So Cal, featuring white oak hardwood floors, whitewashed walls and an abundance of natural light shining through the oversized windows throughout the home.

The backyard has a resort-style vibe, with a pool and a separate inset “conversation island” with a fire pit. How LA does that sound? Fun fact about Mookie: he is reportedly a distant cousin of Meghan Markle. Could you imagine the topics at the “conversation island” if Markle and hubby Prince Harry were to come over to hang out?

It’s the perfect spot for Mookie and his long-time partner Brianna Hammond and their young daughter to enjoy the good life of being a sports celebrity in Los Angeles.
