Senators were furious about the Chinese spy balloon floating in our airspace. They were so ticked off that they called four high-ranking military officials to Capitol Hill and chewed them out. Most rational Americans have a big problem with China being so bold and unafraid of repercussions. Do you know who doesn’t think it’s a big deal, however? The Big Guy, Joe Biden.
According to Biden, the balloon was “not a major breach,” even though it was a sophisticated spying device capable of collecting communications going on below it.
In what sounds like a sheet of talking points delivered from Beijing, Biden went on to defend his naive opinion about the intent of our most prominent enemy.
“It’s not a major breach. Look, the total amount of intelligence gathering that’s going on by every country around the world is overwhelming.”
Is that supposed to make us feel better, Joe? Have you talked to anyone at the State Department? Because they have said, the balloon was part of a vast Beijing surveillance network. If you want more specifics, they are available, including the fact that ballon had multiple antennas capable of collecting and geolocating communications. It could also fly over U.S. military bases.
Biden makes it seem like it was a camera drone capturing beautiful images of the Grand Canyon or something.
He did tell Telemundo that China violated international airspace and was “considering” a response.
In that same interview, Biden was asked about many Americans’ concerns regarding his advanced age and reduced mental faculties. He dismissed the poll’s findings.
