Apparently, Jack Dorsey has had a 180-degree turn regarding how he feels about censorship.  The co-founder of Twitter said that banning Donald Trump permanently from Twitter was a mistake and the wrong move. This all happened after Elon Musk said he plans on reinstating the former Prez when he takes over the blue bird.

Dorsey wasn’t done with his newfound revelations.  He agreed with another tweet that said it’s “short-sighted” for a few social media titans to act as “gatekeepers to political discourse.”

Yes, Jack, that would be something most rational people with common sense would instinctively know.

Regarding Trump being kicked off the platform, Dorsey said, “it was a business decision; it shouldn’t have been.”  He also said, “permanent bans of individuals are directionally wrong.”  A moderately odd choice of words, but I think he means he’s now against the bans.

Twitter jumped all over Dorsey after he unloaded all these gems. He received a lot of support, and there were many that pointed out to him that he could have had these feelings while he was the CEO and running the company.

As for Trump returning to Twitter when Musk brings him back on the platform, Donald says he’s not interested; he prefers his platform, called Truth Social.
