Thanks to the gazillion streaming services, the convenience of never having to leave your house for a movie premiere can be incredible. It’s also a lot less expensive. However, some movies are just better seen on the big screen. Now that the holiday season has officially started, here’s a list of some must-see movies hitting theaters soon.
First up is the highly anticipated sequel to Black Panther. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits movie theaters on Nov 11th. The movie picks up after the death of King T’ Challa who was played by the late Chadwick Boseman. Wakanda now faces a new threat from an undersea kingdom as the world has learned of the nation’s secret advanced technology.

Also debuting on Nov 11th is The Fabelmans’ which Stephen Spielberg directs. This movie tells gives insight to the life of the director himself. It’s set around the 1960s and shows how Spielberg got his start.

The movie, Spirited debuts the same day. Ryan Reynolds, Octavia Spencer, and Will Ferrell star in the holiday musical. Spirited will also be available on Apple TV+ starting Nov 18th.
If you’re not that into the holidays, you may want to see the movie She Said. She Said follows the start of a journalist’s investigation into accusations made by multiple women that Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted them.

Finally, the movie we’ve waited over a decade to see. The premiere of Avatar’s sequel , Avatar 2: The Way of Water will premiere only in theaters on Dec 16th, and yes, there will be baby avatars. Worthington and Neytiri once again prepare to battle it out to protect their family and the planet of Pandora.
