Jake Paul may have had dreams of stepping into the ring with Conor McGregor, but those dreams were quickly knocked out by Dana White.

In an interview with TMZ, White said, “[Conor McGregor] is one of the greatest fighters on Earth right now. He shouldn’t be fighting kids that have f–king YouTube videos.”

Paul recently knocked former NBA player Nate Robinson out cold in the second round of their Nov. 28 fight and afterwards called out McGregor. Paul recently mentioned in an ESPN interview that he would be dedicating his “life to beating Conor McGregor.”

Paul told TMZ Sports that his team had reached out to McGregor’s manager to begin talks about a possible fight and said, “I’m going in there to f**k Conor McGregor up.”

White said there’s “zero percent” chance that a fight between Paul and McGregor happens, adding, “There’s a market for these kinda fights. It’s just not what I do,” said White.

Paul’s big brother, Logan Paul, recently announced a boxing exhibition match with Floyd Mayweather scheduled for February.

As for McGregor scheduling fights like Mayweather, White says, “There will be a day when Conor McGregor could do these types of fights and make a bunch of money, but it ain’t happening anytime soon.”

The next fight McGregor does have scheduled is just over a month away on Jan. 23. McGregor will square off with Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
