The worst part? It’s in ALMOST EVERYTHING.

Research has found a direct correlation between cancers and diseases and the consumption of vegetable oils such as:

Soybean oil.
Canola oil.
Corn oil.
Cottonseed oil.
Sunflower oil.
Peanut oil.
Sesame oil.
Rice bran oil.

These oils all have one thing in common:

They are rich in omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs).

“Excess omega-6 fatty acids seem to increase the risk of breast cancer metastasis, while omega-3 fatty acids have the opposite action. Thus the omega-3/omega-6 fatty acid ratio is of prime importance.” (Bourre 2007)

Just cut it out. These oils are absolutely HORRIBLE for your health. Almost all processed foods have vegetable oil in them.

In reality, we shouldn’t even be eating that junk because it’s making us all sick, fat, and practically infertile

Our food supply is now overflowing with omega-6 oils, with very little omega-3 to provide the necessary balance.

Research has proven an association with a number of serious chronic diseases, such as heart disease, irritable bowel disorder, and arthritis. And cancer.

The Solution?

The Greek girl in me has to say this loud and clear:

OLIVE 👏 OIL 👏

It’s literally medicinal. I never understand why people cook with vegetable oils. Not only does it have 0 health benefits, but it’s actually harmful for you! It doesn’t even taste good!

Other great options include coconut oil and avocado oil.

Olive oil has long been the gold standard for cooking oils in kitchens across the globe.

It’s versatile, delicious, and so healthy.

Olive oil is rich in vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant. The primary fatty acid in olive oil is a monounsaturated fat called oleic acid, which studies have shown may have anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties.

Additionally, olive oil contains antioxidant compounds called oleocanthal and oleuropein. These may have anti-inflammatory effects, including helping prevent LDL (bad) cholesterol from oxidizing.

It’s rich in Omega 3s which offer protection against the development of cancer most associated with excessive omega-6 consumption.

Benefits:

  • It’s packed with polyphenols
  • It strongly promotes cardiovascular health
  • It may reduce risk of certain cancers
  • Supports healthy memory, mood, & brain function
  • It combats pain + inflammation
  • It may boost bone health + strength
  • It supports a healthy gut microbiome
  • It supports a healthy immune system
  • It balances blood sugar and may help prevent diabetes

So ditch the processed foods when you can, because your health depends on it…
