The Globe and Mail noted a new study in Canada that shows work from home and hybrid workers are sleeping more, eating healthier and exercising more than they did at their full time in person gigs.

Towards the end of the last summer, 28% of all Canadians worked hybrid, creating a giant workplace culture shift.

IWG, a creator of flexible workplaces, commissioned a study that shows 70% of hybrid workers eat healthier meals, and get an extra 73 hours of sleep a year. 40 minutes of extra ecersize a week was also the norm for hybrid workers, while 27% say they’ve significantly decreased their alcohol consumption.

82% of respondents say hybrid work has improved their general quality of life, while 66% percent have found improvements in their mental health and well-being.

It may be a tough pill to swallow for the corporate types. But happier people does equal longevity. Who knows if this is the ticket to a thriving workforce, or just an outpost for lazy bums. Time will tell.
