Trans controversy spokesperson / influencer costs Bud Light Marketing VP her job… Sheesh… sure is a lot going on this week and another Biz Doc 411 comes to life… 4 Stats, 1 Hero/Zero and 1 Interesting Article:
4 Stats
1. -50% Loss
Budweiser admitted (after numerous news leaks) that orders are off as much as 50% and distributors are pissed. They then fired Alissa Heinerscheid the disgraced VP of Marketing that started the mess by bringing in Dylan Mulvaney as an influencer / spokesperson to insult women around the globe. Brilliant. Prior to joining Budweiser Heinerscheid was seen at Harvard frat parties blowing up condoms. Hey kids, those pictures last forever.
2. 80% of Taxes Paid by just 10% of the People?
Fact: Today the top 10% of American Taxpayers will pay 80% of the taxes collected. The other 90% will pay 20%.
Here’s the math in a simple example. If total taxes are $100 and there are 100 taxpayers:
10 people pay a total of $80 = $8 Dollars each
90 people pay a total of $20 = 22 Cents each
The media hates the answer because it challenges the narrative about tax the rich (Cue to: Bernie Sanders saying “billionaires” every other word). But they can’t deny the math.
3. 1 More Media CEO…
…has been fired for zipper troubles. Jeff Shell, the chief executive of NBCUniversal and one of the media industry’s renowned executives, is departing the company (very, very suddenly) after an investigation into inappropriate conduct… per Comcast PR late Sunday.
