The Biden administration has approved a Trump-era project to complete a section of the border wall in California

Immediately after beginning his presidency, President Biden ended border wall construction, leaving several gaps along the frontier.

At the time, the department also specified that the funding would be used to “address life, safety, environmental, and remediation requirements for border barrier projects” in California, Arizona, and Texas.

Friendship Park, the park between San Diego and Tijuana allows families who have been separated to meet and touch without a wall between them…

This project will likely close the park, as current plans do not have a spot for a door on the U.S. side. This means pedestrians will not be able to get through to Friendship Park.

The Biden administration has decided they will be finishing a border barrier between Mexico and California…

This was a project as initially planned by the Trump administration.

The Department of Homeland Security announced in May that the administration would be replacing a “deteriorated barrier” located near the cross-border Friendship Park in Imperial Beach, just south of San Diego.

The D.H.S. said the barrier “has not been treated to withstand corrosion from nearby ocean waters and currently poses safety risks to Border Patrol agents, community members, and migrants.”

Funds for the project will be drawn from the capital raised to pay for President Donald Trump’s infamous border wall.

Construction would likely begin on two 30-foot barriers that would extend the wall to the pacific ocean.

The plans emerged as the southern border has seen record-high numbers of migrant crossings — including a staggering 239,416 encounters in May.

Most recently, the U.N. has declared the U.S. / Mexico Border to be the deadliest in the world.

A new report from the United Nations has found that the border crisis has gotten much worse during Biden’s presidency.

More than 1.5 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States in 2021.

Most recently, an abandoned truck was found with 46 migrants found dead inside.

Their discovery arrived as US federal authorities launched an “unprecedented” operation to disrupt human smuggling networks amid an influx of migrants at the US-Mexico border.

The incident was marked as the deadliest border crossing in American history.

Some are even calling for Biden’s impeachment because of the border crisis…
