Well, it’s official – Donald Trump has been arrested. Well, sort of. He turned himself in.

  1. He’s been charged with a total of 34 felonies to which he pled not guilty to all of them.
  2. It’s not just Porn stars, Stormy Daniels and Karen MacDougal at the center of the trial. A doorman is also involved in the hush money payment. District Attorney Alvin Bragg claimed he was paid $30,000 to keep hush about a secret child born out of an affair.
  3. No trial date has been scheduled. Expect it to start in September at the earliest. A few more details will come out before then.
  4. There was no arrest or mugshot of Trump. He voluntarily turned himself in. Video recording was not allowed however photography was permitted.
  5. Bragg will be leaning hard on the additional payments. Also singled out was Porn star Karen MacDougal. Bragg said, “It’s not just about one payment.” He claims together, there was a knowing conspiracy to violate federal election laws.
  6. Since it just happened, Trump has yet to comment. But we’ll know his strategy. His lawyer said Trump was “frustrated and upset” but that the indictment process went “exactly as expected.” Read between the lines? Trump felt he was unjustly charged, but it’s no surprise coming from such a liberal prosecutor out for blood.
  7. Every single charge relates to “falsifying business records in the first degree.” Good luck proving that beyond a misdemeanor. South Carolina Sen. John Edwards, who was John Kerry’s running mate in 2004, had remarkably similar charges when it was found out that he had a secret affair and kid along with it. He was set free – they couldn’t even stick a misdemeanor on him. He was even able to keep his law license. Since then, he’s apparently stepped up and is present in his once covered up kid’s life.
