Joe Rogan has the number one podcast in the world, so it’s not like he’s hurting when it comes to fascinating guests. He can get anyone he wants, but the key is that he has to want you to be on his show. And that list does not include one of the most dangerous leaders in the world.

Rogan was talking to comedian Bert Kreischer on his show when he was asked if he would fly to Russia to interview Vladimir Putin if the Russian leader was up for it.

It appears to be a hard pass.

“Are you out of your f***ing mind? Hey, forget about all those people that you killed that were your political opponents. Let’s be cool now. Just be a different person now. Be a totally different human with a totally different background that wasn’t in the KGB, that isn’t a dictator, that doesn’t control information and control what news gets distributed to your people.’”

Rogan called Putin “evil,” which seems to be a fairly apt description.

Since we’re on the subject of Putin, a report in the New York Post said 39 prominent Russian big shots have died since the war in Ukraine broke out, all under suspicious circumstances.

The list of three dozen plus now dead Russians includes politicians, critics, energy bosses, oligarchs, and many others. The cause of death has ranged from accidental to quite gruesome.

Russian expert Jon O’Neil was quoted in the story as saying Putin can’t have these killings look like obvious murders, so there are a lot of falls and poisonings. Many are classified as suicides.
