Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate are suing a Florida woman for sex trafficking allegations which resulted in their arrests in December.

The social media influencers claim the woman conspired with others to “levy fake human trafficking and rape allegations” against them, resulting in a raid at their estate in Bucharest, Romania, according to the Daily Beast. The brothers remain under house arrest.

Attorneys Thomas Maniotis and Joseph D. McBride are defending the Tate brothers, calling the woman “a professional con artist” and claim that she pursued a sexual relationship with Tristan Tate in order to move to Romania, according to The Associated Press.

When those pursuits failed, she conspired with others to make false statements to Romanian and U.S. embassy authorities that led to the arrests.

In their lawsuit, however, the Tate brothers say the Florida woman and all women who lived at their estate were free to come and go as they pleased, with closed-circuit security video proving it.

“At no point did the Tate brothers engage in human trafficking,” the lawsuit says. Tate’s attorneys claim the woman “is a serial liar, manipulator and schemer who exploits vulnerable, often wealthy men with good intentions for sexual, financial and emotional profit.”

The Associated Press notes that the Florida woman and her parents’ identities remain anonymous because she is a victim of sexual assault. No phone records have been found for the family and no attorneys have been listed in the court record.

According to the lawsuit, the Tate brothers lost their freedom and millions of dollars from the allegations and asked a Palm Beach County judge for $5 million in damages.
