Oh, I feel sorry for residents of San Francisco who love the city and are disgusted by what it’s become. It’s a bona fide American tragedy; one of the world’s most beautiful and magic cities has turned into a disgusting, dangerous dump.
Whole Foods fell a little short with their due diligence when they thought opening a 65,000-square-foot location in the Mid-Market neighborhood was a good idea. They had to close the store because the company was concerned with employee safety.
San Francisco Board of Supervisors member Matt Dorsey said it’s a shame this happened.
”Our neighborhood waited a long time for this supermarket, but we’re also well aware of problems they’ve experienced with drug-related retail theft, adjacent drug markets, and the many safety issues related to them.”
Theft is rampant in San Fran. There are videos online you can see that show the brazenness of criminals there. Property crimes are up 23%. Murders are up 20%.
You know a city has a crime problem when the husband of the former Speaker of the House can have his head darn near bashed in by a nut with a hammer.
