Former Nickelodeon star and musician Drake Bell has been found safe, according to a Facebook post from the Daytona Beach Police Department. This announcement comes just a few hours after he was reported missing in Florida.

The police department stated that law enforcement officials were in contact with Bell but did not provide any further details at this time.

Earlier reports indicated that the Daytona Beach Police Department was searching for the Drake & Josh actor, who was last seen driving a 2022 grey BMW, according to Carrie McCallister, a Daytona PD public information officer.

He was potentially last seen on Wednesday just before 9 p.m. local time in the area of Mainland High School and was considered missing and endangered.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police department has not commented further on the circumstances surrounding Bell’s disappearance, including who reported him missing, whether there was any suspected cause for his disappearance, or if they had any leads.

In response to rumors that the report was fake, the police department confirmed that the post was legitimate and urged anyone with information to contact Detective Jayson Wallace.

Bell, who gained fame as a child star on Nickelodeon shows like The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh, made headlines in 2021 after pleading guilty to child endangerment charges.

He was sentenced to two years of probation and 200 hours of community service for his conduct with a fan whom he met online while she was a minor.

Fans and well-wishers are relieved to hear that Bell has been found safe and are awaiting further updates on the situation.
