In an increasingly politically divided world, it’s sometimes best to digest a wide array of political viewpoints when enjoying podcasts. It’s crucial to get multiple viewpoints on one issue so you can distill them and make the most objective, well informed opinion for yourself. I understand most of the readers are right leaning. But to truly make an argument for your side, you have to know what the other side is saying. And not just in a quick 2 minute hit, or a heated argument, but what they say when not being challenged. We’ll give you multiple political sides with people, whom, while you might find to be wrong, are compelling and interesting to listen to.

On the right side:

  1. David Rubin has a level headed approach as a right wing commentator. He’s not as reflexively pro Trump as others might be, creating fascinating insights on the looming Ron DeSantis campaign. He was recently on Patrick’s live podcast.

2. Ben Shapiro weighs into the culture wars in a hilarious way. Check out his “libs of TikTok” weekly segment to laugh your butt off.

On the left side

  1. Roland Martin. If something happens that’s big news in the black community, there’s one expert I jump right over to. The well known civil rights activist has the research and experience to back his claims up, as much as you might disagree with them. He had a heated debate with PBD, but brought the knowledge and passion which makes his show a compelling listen.
  2. Sam Seder is about as left as you can get. His often three person show makes for lively conversations and adds a heavy dose of humor. Even if you’re right leaning, but the whole Trump thing gets ridiculous to you once in a while, you might enjoy his hilarious riffs on all things right wing. He also has fascinating back and fourths with callers who disagree with him politically. You can see him on PBD as well.

On the mainstream side:

  1. David Pakman is an establishment, pro Hillary figure through and through. A lot of authentic leftists even disagree with him, as they feel there’s a corporate, establishment takeover of the party. Still, he sits and chews on the issues, and you’ll need to know what the other side in power is saying. He’s drawn the ire of Mike Lindell, the My Pillow guy. The hilarious back and fourth between them is worth the watch alone. He also had a spirited debate with PBD.
  2. Pod Save America. Hate to say it. It’s run by a bunch of Obama alumns, and they used to be much worse with constant cursing. Their smug live shows are a lot to take, but every day, after a major event, there’s an hour long distillation of the days news  (in the non live version). They are expert election analysts, as much as it pains me to say it. Want to hear what the establishment left thinks of the arrest, and the strategy for DeSantis and Trump in 2024? Check out Pod Save for a lot to chew on

And the best?

Breaking Points. If you’re anti establishment but roll your eyes at both parties, this is the podcast for you. Hosted by former MSNBC liberal Krystal Ball and Saager Enjetti who wrote for the Daily Caller, you get two pundits who are very different politically, but agree on one thing. The establishment political class and media have got to go.
