Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, China’s threats toward Taiwan, and North Korea’s paranoia and obsession with having a nuke have shined the spotlight on how tense and volatile situations are worldwide.

It appears that for now anyway, the Democrats calling the shots care about our safety as a nation almost as much as they do about bailing out and making sure college loans are paid off.
In 2021, the U.S. spent $800.78 billion on the military, with China in second place at $293 billion. That is a tremendous gap, and it continues the trend of America spending more on the military than any other country in the world for the 72nd consecutive year.
Our budget for the Pentagon is so massive that it is more than the combined spending of every other country in the top 10.
India was third on the list, with a price tag of $76.6 billion, followed by the UK ($68B) and Russia ($65.9B).
Keep your eye on China, as their spending has more than doubled in the last ten years, and they have by far the largest total of active military personnel of any country in the world.
Having the most bombs, fighter jets, missiles, submarines, and machine guns is not what will win modern wars. Cyberattacks and how to prevent them or ensure we are superior when conducting them have become a priority, and where much of the focus is turning.
