Could it be?! Do we officially have another potential Republican contender for 2024?! It seems to be the case after former governor of South Carolina and United Nations Ambassador, Nikki Haley, announced Tuesday, she will be entering the 2024 presidential race.

Haley is the first Republican to challenge former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.

“I’m Nikki Haley and I’m running for president.” Haley, 51, highlighted some of her upbringings as an Asian-American growing up in Bamberg, SC and how blessed she felt to live in the United States, “even on our worst days.” She outlines some of the treats facing the U.S. today, including China and Russia.

One cannot help but feel a sense of pride as they watch the former governor light up when describing the triumphs and strength of America and its citizens. She calls for a new generation of leaders, mentioning Biden’s record as “abysmal” and the Washington establishment failing the American people repeatedly.

The announcement was made on Nikki Haley’s Twitter account:

Other potential candidates discussed through the grapevine include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Former Vice-President Mike Pence, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Haley’s first campaign event is set for Wednesday at 11 a.m., with stops in New Hampshire and Iowa, next day. Donald Trump better buckle up – competition is set to look fierce in 2024.
