Brad Parscale, the campaign manager who helped Donald Trump win the 2016 election with targeted ads on social media platforms like Facebook, is using his AI technology company to aid his 2024 presidential bid.

“You’re going to see some of the most amazing new technology in artificial intelligence that’s going to replace polling in the future across the country,” Parscale said.

Parscale was the manager and the senior adviser for data and digital operations of the 2020 Trump campaign as well as the digital media director for his 2016 campaign. “I pretty much used Facebook to get Trump elected in 2016,” Parscale said in 2022. However, Parscale’s demotion during the summer of 2020 and his subsequent domestic battles forced him to back out of politics. He even told his friend in private that he felt “guilty” for helping Trump in light of the Capitol riot.

In the meantime, he has launched an AI company called Campaign Nucleus, which he claims will transform the way Republicans win campaigns.

The firm, which is now serving as a contractor to the Trump campaign, uses AI technology to generate emails, host websites, scan data to locate swing voters, and amplify the social media accounts of “anti-woke” activists. Parscale’s team is also developing an app that will help campaigns pick up absentee ballots in the manner of the Grubhub delivery service.

Parscale has not confirmed what he will be doing for the Trump campaign. The campaign previously said in an email that it does not “engage or utilize” AI tools, and Trump has said AI is “scary” and “dangerous.” But with the Biden campaign using AI to target persuadable voters and warn them about the dangers of so-called misinformation, it would make sense if they were goaded into adopting the explosive technology.
