The social media platform former President Donald Trump backs went live on Monday, meaning it should be available for download on Apple’s App Store.

The Twitter-like app’s name is TRUTH Social, and it’s owned by the media company Trump launched after he left the White House.

The CEO of Trump Media is former congressman David Nunes, and he announced last week that Truth Social should be “fully operational” by the end of March. Fox Business reports the rollout will come as a staged-approached, meaning the platform will populate with new users who pre-ordered the app over the next week and a half.

Here’s what Nunes told Fox Business about how he sees TRUTH being utilized.

“We want to be very family-friendly, we want this to be a very safe place, and we are focused on making sure any illegal content is not on the site.”

The link to TRUTH Social on the App Store says it will feature a profile that can be customized, video capabilities, messaging, and a search tool. It was the top free app available on the App Store as of early Monday

Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube since January 6, 2021, following the attack on the Capitol, so his re-emergence on a social media platform could be coming very soon.
