For everyone who does not pay homage to the navy star, watching the Dallas Cowboys faithful lose faith in their team during Monday Night Football was an entertaining subplot of the 38-10 shellacking the Cowboys took at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals.
In their first game since losing quarterback Dak Prescott for the season to injury, the Cowboys continued to spiral to a 2-4 record with special attention to one fan who was beside himself in grief … even though he was beside his girlfriend, too.
The Cowboys jersey–wearing fan at AT&T Stadium held his bobbing head in his hands with the look of sobbing as he received a consoling kiss from the woman next to him. (Editors Note: I love the passion the fan has for his team, feel bad for him and hope he gets over the loss soon.)
He was not the only one, as several despondent Cowboys fans were shown during the telecast to remind us all of what we’ve been missing with empty stadiums. And to become instant memes for anyone reveling in the Cowboys’ struggles.
Another Cowboy fan, wearing a Prescott jersey, shared a video of himself finishing a canned beverage in his living room, throwing the can at his TV, which was showing the game, and then punching the TV three times before tossing its shattered screen to the ground.
But wait, he wasn’t done. He then appeared to fire a gun four times at the TV on the ground as Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” played in the background. The video has more than 200,000 views on the @NFL_Memes handle.
That Toshiba deserved to live for another SportsCenter. After all, the Cowboys still are actually in first place in the awful NFC East.
