It’s Tax Day 2021, and a group of millionaires who want the rich to pay more in taxes are celebrating in the form of organized protests.

A major target is Jeff Bezos, with the Amazon CEOs homes a popular destination.

Patriotic Millionaires, whose members earn more than $1 million annually (or own assets north of $5 million), favor Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s ultra-millionaires tax plan, which would put a 2% annual tax on wealth over $50 million, rising to 3% for wealth over $1 billion.

Forbes estimates Bezos’ wealth at more than $190 billion. Amazon representatives have declined to publicly comment on Monday’s protests, but Bezos has said he’s in favor of higher corporate taxes.

President Joe Biden seeks tax increases on corporations and individuals making more than $400,000 to pay for the administration’s $2 trillion infrastructure proposal.

Morris Pearl, chairman of Patriotic Millionaires, told CNBC that the organization would also seek other tax options. Also on the advisory board are Abigail and Tim Disney, children of late Disney executive, Roy Disney, among others.

Mobile billboards will make stops in front of Bezos’ homes in New York and Washington.

“Jeff Bezos is the poster child for the total idiocy of the country’s tax code,” Erica Payne, founder and president of the group, told CNBC on Friday, adding that Bezos is reportedly building a massive yacht likely to cost $500 million.

The mobile billboards also are scheduled to show up in front of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Washington residence as well as the offices of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer in New York City.

Another billboard featured in Monday’s campaign has images of Bezos, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla CEO Elon Musk laughing and reads “tax me if you can.” Another message reads, “Tax the rich. Save America. Yes it really is that simple.”
