The main spokeswoman for Democratic Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs is in hot water.

After the Nashville shooting at the hands of a transgendered gunperson, Josselyn Berry posted a tweet with a screenshot of the film “Gloria” where the character is seen holding and aiming two handguns. The caption below it said, “us when we see transphobes”.

The Arizona Freedom Caucus, a popular conservative group, said, “Calling for violence like this is un-American & never acceptable. Berry should be fired immediately.”

Now, Republican lawmakers are joining the call for her firing or at least resignation, but neither has happened yet. We got the screenshot of the tweet for you but it was removed because, according to Twitter, “it has violated Twitter rules.”

Interestingly enough, it didn’t seem like Berry herself attempted to take it down. And while the story has been brewing for a number of hours, Governor Katie Hobbs has yet to take action or even comment on it.
