President Donald Trump’s official Twitter account was on the wrong end of a social media take down on Tuesday. The Trump team had tweeted out a highlight of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk scoring a touchdown during Sunday’s 25-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. In the clip, Aiyuk can be seen hurdling over an Eagles’ defender at the 5-yard line before landing in the end zone for a touchdown. Team Trump had superimposed Trump’s head onto Aiyuk’s body, while also putting a picture of the coronavirus on the Eagles defender at the 5-yard line.

If you want to see the Trump version of the video, you will have to rely on your imagination at this point, as Twitter still has the tweet up but the accompanying video has been removed with the following message left in it’s place: “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.” It’s unclear who filed the copyright claim, although the NFL is known for being notoriously strict with their media usage rights.

Aiyuk, the 49er’s rookie receiver has not publicly said anything in direct relation to the tweet, although he did send out his own tweet late Tuesday morning, “WHY!!!WTF!!.” We can only assume his response was directly correlated to the video the Trump campaign had released.

Although Trump hasn’t been jumping over defenders like the doctored video showed, he has been plenty busy on social media just one day after being released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The President declared he is “FEELING GREAT” in a tweet early Tuesday morning, before launching into a series of tweets focused on everything from the second debate to his objection to the latest stimulus offer put forth by Nancy Pelosi.
