MrBeast, a YouTube and social media personality, announced today that his company Feastables is now the official sponsor of the Charlotte Hornets, the NBA team of North Carolina. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is believed to have more subscribers than anyone else on earth across his YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X accounts for a combined total of more than 350 million followers.

“Feastables is the official sponsor of the @hornets :)” he wrote. “I love Basketball so it only makes sense for Feastables’s first sponsorship to be with my home team.”

“Can’t wait to see what the logo will look like on the court,” he added.

The main page for Feastables posted about the partnership and mentioned it was only for the 2023-2024 NBA season.

The Hornets shared a clip of the jersey with a Feastables patch on X. The clip was also posted to the official NBA website along with a press release.

According to the NBA statement, the patches will also be stitched to the jerseys of the Greensboro Swarm, a Hornets-affiliated NGA G League team, as well as the Hornets Venom GT esports team.

“We are thrilled to welcome Feastables and North Carolina native MrBeast into our Hornets family,” said Hornets Sports & Entertainment President & Vice Chairman Fred Whitfield. “We are excited to have this opportunity to introduce MrBeast’s fans to the Hornets and the Feastables brand to NBA fans around the world through our jersey patch. We are confident this innovative, new partnership will be significantly beneficial for everyone involved.”

Feastables is a snack food company that sells its products, which includes “Karl Gummies” and a line of chocolate bars, in Walmart, Target, 7-11, Amazon, and dozens of supermarkets and gas stations. It made over $10 million in the first few months after its launch in January 2022. Donaldson is also the founder of MrBeast Burger, the burger joint that is outsourced to participating restaurants under a “ghost kitchen” business model similar to Uber.
