A gunman killed eight at a mall outside of Dallas yesterday afternoon.

A man stepped outside of his car and opened fired next to the entrance of the outdoor Allen Premium Outlets.

A handful of children also perished in the attack, although the number at this moment is unclear.

The gunman has been identified as 33 year old Mauricio Garcia. Law enforcement said he had a number of white supremacist posts and writings.

A police officer, who was at the mall to handle an unrelated issue, heard the gunshots and quickly took action, immediately killing Garcia. He most likely saved at least dozens of lives due to his quick thinking and heroic handling.

Garcia was found with a patch with an acronym that stood for “Right Wing Death Squad”. He had an AR-15 style rifle as well as a handgun.

At least three people separately recorded the incident either via video or audio.

A manager at FatBurger, which is located in the mall, allowed her customers to subtly sneak to the back and hide, and then exit through the back door, getting to their cars safely. She most likely prevented further bloodshed as well.
