The Phantom Of The Opera is the longest-running musical in Broadway history, and the theater that the musical was centered on is available to be booked for stays on Airbnb. You can sleep in the famed theater (Palais Garnier) that inspired the play 148 years ago. It sounds a little more creepy than exciting, but it is definitely unique.

Phantom friends can crash in the Box of Honor — the most prominent part of the theater, usually reserved for VIPs. Now it’s a bedroom with a king-sized bed and beautiful artwork.

Along with the stay comes a musical-themed tour of all the unique areas, including the underground lake that inspired the Phantom’s home. The theater still hosts actual performances, and if you book a stay, you will get VIP tickets for a recital performed by the Paris Opera Academy.

The booking on Airbnb makes the 35th anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical, which is as popular as ever. It hits the road for a tour of 15 countries this year. It will mark nearly 14,000 performances, with the final one on Broadway set for April 16th.

Veronique Leroux is the great-granddaughter of the French writer and will host everything connected with the stay.

“My great-grandfather’s classic story has inspired so many people through the years. This is the perfect time to honor him and welcome ‘phans’ to the famous setting of his much-loved novel for a once-in-a-lifetime stay.”

Bookings start on March 1 for the one-night stay only available on July t6.
