Anonymous seems like a group you’d not want to be mad at you.  Ask V. Putin of Russia if you need specifics.  The international all-star hacking group claims that they have gotten into Russia’s Central Bank and found a whole lot of interesting information, specifically, 35,000 files that reportedly contain “secret agreements.”

Oh, Anonymous said they would release these files in the next 48 hours.  Think some people in Moscow might be sweating a little bit right now?

Here’s the message from the Twitter account of Anonymous TV, which includes a Ukrainian flag in their avatar.

“JUST IN: The #Anonymous collective has hacked the Central Bank of Russia. More than 35.000 files will be released within 48 hours with secret agreements. #OpRussia”.

The head of Russia’s Central Bank is named Elvira Nabiullina, and a photo of her at a meeting at the Kremlin showed her looking pretty bummed out.  She acknowledged that the Russian economy was in an “extreme situation.”  She added, “We all very much would have liked this not to have happened.”

Wow. It looks like we might learn some details about the financial relationships Russian oligarchs have with the government.

While Anonymous continues to make life a living hell for Russian leaders, they warned Western companies doing business in Russia that they better leave or cyberattacks would be coming their way.
