Yes, that was a kitchen sink Elon Musk was carrying with him into the headquarters of Twitter as he came to check out the building he will soon own when his deal to purchase Twitter closes on Friday.

Here’s what he posted on his social media company.

“Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”

There was all kind of reaction to the stunt, which of course, is what Musk wanted. People who are advocates of free speech and opposed to banning voices on social media loved it.

Journalist Emily Miller tweeted this.

“Boy it makes me happy to see Elon Musk at Twitter HQ after 13 years on this platform getting censored and shadowbanned and taking away followers. LET FREEDOM RING!”

Glenn Greenwald had this comment about the upcoming free for all it will be at the company once Musk takes over.

“I can’t even calculate how much money I’d pay to read the Slack chat of Twitter employees today. Definitely would pay extra to read the thoughts of ‘Content Moderators.’”

CNN analyst Juliette wasn’t laughing.

“This is fundamentally cruel.  Whatever the masters of the universe are doing with this website, lots and lots of people — not fancy people, just people with kids and houses and vacation plans and who make companies run and rich men richer — will lose their livelihoods.”

The video lasted nine seconds and has tens of millions of views.

Musk also changed his Twitter bio.  It now reads “Chief Twit.”
