Who can forget the imagery from last season, on a Monday Night Football game no less, when Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett lost his mind near the end of the game, ripped the helmet off Steelers QB Mason Rudolph, and proceeded to slug him in the head with the helmet.

That was the final moment of Garrett’s season, as Commissioner Roger Goodell rightfully suspended him the final six games.

The big question is, will the Steelers retaliate for being on the receiving end of one of the most vicious and dirty plays the NFL has seen in years? Garrett said he isn’t expecting any payback. “We’ll see when we play,” Garrett remarked. “But their head coach [Mike Tomlin] said they’re past it. We’re past it as a team. We’re ready to go out there and play ball.”

That was one pricey mistake for Garrett. Missing the final six games cost him $1.2 million in salary and he had to pay a $45,623 fine to boot.

Garrett is a hothead, and it seems logical the Steelers will try to bait him into losing his mind and hurting his team again, but Garrett thinks the game will be like a get together of long-lost friends. ”[We won’t] be worried about what they’re doing to frustrate or knock us off our game. But I think they’re going to play a clean, fair game, and we’re going to do the same.”

We’ll believe it when we see it. The track record says an MMA fight could break out at any minute, so call us skeptical. Buckle your chin strap Ben Roethlisberger!
