K-Pop’s biggest collection of stars has been able to handle almost any onslaught or threat thrown their way, including thousands of ravenous fans, groupies, crazy travel schedules, demands by sponsors and overly obsesses supporters who literally worship every move they make.

But the Korean pop stars of BTS were not strong enough to handle the Delta Variant of COVID-19, which will go down as the one force fearsome enough to not just cancel a concert or two, but literally cause the pop stars to cancel their entire tour.

Forget the fans that have waited for the tour, and shelled out their hard earned money, when it comes to the Delta Variant, the young fellas met their match and tapped out.

Here’s part of the statement they released after bowing down to the variant and running for cover.

“Our company has worked hard to resume preparations for the BTS Map of the Soul Tour, knowing that all fans have been waiting eagerly and long for the tour.  Due to changing circumstances beyond our control, it has become difficult to resume performances at the same scale and timeline as previously planned.”

What’s ironic, is posting out in the actual statement that their fans have been waiting eagerly for the tour, and then cancelling it, making the announcement even more painful for their obsessively loyal enthusiasts.

Zoom concert anyone?  Sounds exciting. Stay safe fellas!
