Target is an interesting company. It used to be a store you could find the items you needed at a decent price, then walk safely to your car and resume your life. Not so much anymore — as the Minneapolis-based company seems to be pretty committed to a lot of empty shelves and an unending supply of virtue signaling.

Target is finding itself in the cross-hairs of angry consumers online ripping it for offering female swimsuits that have “extra crotch coverage” and are “tuck-friendly.”

It’s part of their Pride collection, and they describe them as having been “thoughtfully fit on multiple body types and gender expressions.” Extra crotch coverage is wonderful, but what happens when fewer shoppers buy your household items and school supplies?

A lot of parents are ticked about the pride-themed onesies that are also in the Pride collection. Some of the children’s clothing features the phrase “Just Be You And Fell The Love.”

Some are calling for a boycott of Target. Others are just laughing at Target’s cringy desire to prove to the world how woke they are at every turn. Comedian Chrissie Mayr tweeted, “Thanks to @Target I found the perfect swimsuit for creeping out all the women and children at the pool this summer. Can’t wait to tuck my c*** into this little number while sipping a Bud Light!”

Former swimming star Riley Gaines said this about Target and other retailers. “I don’t understand why companies are voluntarily doing this to themselves. They could have at least said the suit is ‘unisex,’ but they didn’t because it’s about erasing women. Ever wondered why we hardly see this go the other way? Women’s swimsuits aren’t accessorized with a bulge.”
