Remember the days when actors and musicians were able to solely focus on their art and keep their political opinions private? Those days are long gone as Hollywood has been hijacked and transformed into a pawn for a political agenda, particularly from the radical democratic left.

Former “Twisted Sister” lead singer Dee Snider is getting hit with “transphobic” criticism as he continues to voice his opposition to puberty blockers and gender medical operations on kids.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, the rock star states that allowing children to make irreversible, life-altering medical decisions at such a young age is evidence that “irresponsible parenting is the norm in society.

“As a parent, there are certain things that you come to know, and one thing to know is that your kids don’t know everything when they’re in elementary school. They don’t know everything when they’re entering junior high school – they don’t know anything when they’re in high school,” Snider said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “Quite honestly, speaking only for myself, I didn’t know everything in my 20s or my 30s, or my 40s. With each decade, I look back and go, man, I was and idiot.”

Snider shares that in disagreeing with this particular and very important issue, he refuses to be considered transphobic, when he has been an ally to the LGBT community for many years.

After San Francisco Pride, Snider took to Facebook and wrote, “I was not aware the Transgender community expects fealty and total agreement with all their beliefs and any variation or deviation is considered ‘transphobic.’”

“I’ve recently stated I do not believe young children are ready to decide their gender allocation,” he wrote. “I believe their choices should be supported and accepted by their parents, but I do not think kids have the mental capabilities to make rational, logical decisions on things of a magnitude that will affect them for the rest of their lives.”

Snider also responded to a tweet back in May in response to Paul Stanley’s description of children being exploited to gender identity confusion.

In his recent interview, Snider added, “I didn’t do anything wrong…I’ve always been that guy who’s like ‘no, I’m not going to do just because you’ve decided that I am this; I’m going to push back, and my whole push back and my statement on Facebook with the pride thing was, I am still an ally, I am still with you, I will still stand with you, I will still march with you, but I am not going to accept, I’m not going to take it.”

“I’m not going to accept that I’m this or that, that I’m transphobic – I’m going to push back on that, and I said one thing that I disagree with and I’m transphobic? Push back! We ARE the true majority, we are the vast majority.”
