On the PBD Podcast, Patrick Bet-David explains why integrity matters when evaluating the people around you. His advice is to watch everyday behavior: how someone makes decisions, treats others and handles situations when fairness or honesty is actually tested.
Organizational researchers use the term “behavioral integrity” to describe the perceived alignment between a person’s words and actions. Research has linked stronger leader behavioral integrity with greater employee trust and workplace performance.
Patrick’s point is that character becomes visible through repetition. A résumé or polished conversation can tell you what someone wants you to believe, but ordinary workplace decisions provide opportunities to observe consistency, fairness and honesty over time.
