If that was Hunter Biden’s laptop left behind at a Delaware repair shop, he might have an issue with forgetting his computers. NBC News revealed that the Drug Enforcement Agency confiscated a Hunter Biden laptop while executing a February search warrant on Massachusetts psychiatrist Keith Ablow, who was accused of professional misconduct but has not been charged. The Democratic presidential nominee’s son was not the target of the search and had the laptop returned to him.
The more controversial laptop has been one that Hunter Biden allegedly left at a repair shop because it was water damaged and did not retrieve. President Donald Trump’s campaign contends that the laptop’s hard drive, which was turned over to Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, contains emails and documents displaying how Hunter Biden used his father’s influence as vice president for business deals.
The story originated in the New York Post. The Wall Street Journal and Fox News have been the only media outlets to receive the documents, but they have questioned their authenticity, as many suggest that Russian intelligence is generating misinformation in an attempt to interfere with a presidential election again.
“Corporate records reviewed by The Wall Street Journal show no role for Joe Biden,” a Journal statement read.
The New York Times reported that The Wall Street Journal had met with Trump officials and had been investigating the laptop story before Giuliani delivered it to the New York Post.
The NBC report is actually a third laptop confiscation in the matter. The Daily Beast reported earlier this month that a laptop allegedly containing Hunter Biden’s Ukrainian contacts was seized by Ukrainian police, according to politician Andrii Derkach, who allegedly has ties to Russian intelligence. In September, the U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned Derkach for “alleged efforts to interfere in the U.S. presidential election” by working with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani to gather negative information about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden.
It should be noted that psychiatrist Keith Ablow, on whose premises the alleged third Hunter Biden laptop was found in February of this year, is a former psychiatrist, who’s medical license was suspended by Massachusetts in 2019.
