Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas, who previously served as the White House physician under both Donald Trump and Barack Obama, is calling on President Joe Biden to take a cognitive test to prove he’s fit to run the country.

Jackson sent a letter, signed by 13 other GOP lawmakers, to Biden on Thursday.

“The American people should have absolute confidence in their President,” Jackson wrote. “They deserve to know that he or she can perform the duties of Head of State and Commander in Chief. They deserve full transparency on the mental capabilities of their highest elected leader.

“To achieve this, we urge you to submit to a cognitive test immediately. We implore you to then publish the test results, so the American people know the full mental and intellectual health of their President.”

In 2018, Jackson, Trump’s physician at the time, reported Trump passed a cognitive test with flying colors in an effort to shoot down rumors of Trump’s declining mental health.

No stranger to controversy, Jackson also said the former president was in “excellent” health despite the fact that Trump was near obesity levels at the time.

Fox News reported results of an investigation in March: “(Jackson) made ‘sexual and denigrating’ comments about a female subordinate and engaged in inappropriate use of alcohol while on two presidential trips during his time as the White House physician, according to a Pentagon inspector general report.”

Jackson, who took shots at Biden’s dealings during the G7 meetings earlier this week, tweeted that he copied current White House physician, Kevin O’Connor, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden’s chief medical adviser.

According to The Hill, White House officials have said the results of Biden’s annual physical, to be done later this year, would be made public.
